This is an original 45 cal Belgian made double pistol.
I've picked up a couple of pinfires, but this one is a center fire and should make loading for it much easier.
The whole guns is lightly engraved.
This gun is missing the extractor but it doesn't look like it will be too hard to make a replacement.
The gun has nitro proof marks so I might try some smokeless loads in it but keep the pressure around 10ksi or lower.
The barrel sluged to .451" and a 45 colt case cut to .93" chambers easily. I have a flatnose 230gn 45acp mold that I'm thinking will be the bullet to load in this. A quickload estimation shows that I should be able to get 700-800fps safely.
